Our first week kicked of with Dungeons and Dragons, a very old board game that has inspired in many games today. The first assignment was to create an character and read the rules of the games, we got divided into groups of 6. 5 players and 1 Dungeon Master (DM). The Dungeon Master controls all aspects of the game, except for the actions of the players characters, he also describes to the players what they see and hear.
At first we got a bit confused how the rules worked for creating our characters but we got this explained by our mentor in the class the day after since we was not the only group who was confused.
During this weekend we did some gameplay and I got surprised how great fun this was. I have never played any kind of these board games before so I did not expect it would be this fun.
I will definitely play some more DnD!
